ABOUT US
Meet Brent and Linda Gee
We became interested in wine in 1994 while visiting Napa. We immediately saw the joy and passion of the winemakers and farmers. They seemed happy. And with that trip, the dream of living such a life sprouted. In early 2019, while contemplating New Year’s resolutions, we decided we would seek our dream or let it be and move on. We Googled “vineyards for sale in Southern Oregon” and our vineyard came up. After living in Dallas, Texas for 30 years and raising our family, we were ready to seriously pursue our dream. In October 2019, we purchased a vineyard in Applegate Valley with established vines. We named it Kenyon Vineyard in honor of Linda’s father, Charles Kenyon Eckels, who lived in the Applegate Valley for many years and introduced us to this spectacular area. In May 2021, we sold our home in Dallas and retired from our corporate jobs to move to Southern Oregon to farm the vineyard and begin selling wine.
Our goal is human connection
Dwell Wines was created with the simple purpose of bringing people together over good wine. We aim to create moments of togetherness by bottling the joy drawn from God’s creation with as little interference as possible. Intentionality is at the heart of everything we do. From how we grow and harvest our grapes to the way in which we use the wine as a means to connect with others. We actively seek to make the best wine and wine experiences.

Wine has been produced and traded since the beginning of civilization. It is an artistic expression of the beautiful diversity of earth. It is a vehicle through which we can appreciate our families, different cultures, different ways of being and different parts of the world. Wine is meant to bring people together to enjoy each other’s company. It accompanies the sharing of beautiful moments and events like weddings, birthdays, vacations, holidays with loved ones and weekend gatherings with friends. Sometimes a beautiful view, perfect weather, delicious foods and meaningful, joyful conversations with those we love all come together to create magic. One knows this when they experience it. These are the times we want Dwell Wines to represent.
